BOULDERS

This project was heavily based on teaching the fundamentals of editorial design. With the topic of bouldering at hand, there haven't been many editorials about them and the best one that would come to mind would be “Climbing” and the most recent magazine which discusses the Olympics around rock climbing and ice climbing. Being part of the rock climbing community, there aren’t many news or events for a strange sport such as rock climbing. For that issue, having another bouldering related magazine can better inform all levels of climbers to possibly join and love this new sport. The significance of the project mainly landed on the editorial aspects and being able to lay out a design that does not make any of the information being relayed to be overwhelming. Designing that grid layout to create that flowing magazine becomes crucial.
